These are the first decisions of Major General Evariste Ndayishimiye.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Burundian Parliament has just approved the proposal of the Burundian Head of State to appoint General Alain Guillaume Bunyoni as Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi and Prosper Bazombanza as Vice-President of the Republic.<\/p>\n<p>Alain Guillaume Bunyoni is from the same political family as Ndayishimiye. He was Minister of Public Security from 24 August 2015 until today. He was considered the real number two of the Pierre Nkurunziza regime. A Falcon. He was the real number two of the Nkurunziza regime.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prosper Bazombanza is a member of the UPRONA party. The 2018 constitution requires that the president of the republic and the vice-president must be of two different ethnicities and political sensibilities. He assists the President of the Republic in the exercise of his functions as specified in article 122 of the constitution. From 2014 to 2015, Bazombanza served as Burundi&#8217;s first Vice-President. He has just been politically promoted from the position of Secretary General of the Insurance Regulation and Control Agency (ARCA).<\/p>\n<p>Article 109 of the constitution in force in Burundi stipulates that &#8220;The president of the republic, on the proposal of the prime minister, in consultation with the vice-president, appoints the members of the government and puts an end to their functions. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00e9rard Rugambwa<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Alain Guillaume Bunyoni becomes Prime Minister and Prosper Bazombanza Vice-President.
