The Americans fear violence with the presidential election on Tuesday 03 November. The police have deployed their men on the ground while the population is barricaded.
The Americans went to the polls on 3 November 2020. They have to choose between Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate and Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and outgoing President, the future head of the American executive.
In the polling stations, 1200 police officers were deployed. They are ready to intervene to ensure a free and peaceful election.

In Washington but also in several cities in the United States, people are barricading themselves to protect themselves against protest movements. Violence by extremists is expected to occur whether Trump loses or wins the election.
The sale of arms has increased in recent weeks. Donald Trump is not ready to digest a loss at the polls to Joe Biden. He says that if he fails, the election will have been rigged. Until the eve of this memorable day, the polls favour Joe Biden, the former vice-president under Barak Obama.
